That fact is one of several errors made by the author of the very poorly researched column at the top of this thread. The author is not interested in research. He's interested only in writing a polemic that allows him to complain about the shabby treatment of Muslims post 9-11.

Eric Rudolph claims not only to be a Christian but to have acted in God's name. The same with Clayton Lee Waagoner. Neal Horsely celebrates and advocates terrorism, and Fred Phelps gloated over September 11th. Both claim to be acting as Christians and doing "God's work".

No one can logically claim they represent all Christians. To claim that Al-Qaeda represents all Moslems is just as foolish.
