Could you imagine a poll taken in the US that said that 43% of all Americans think there are too many blacks? The press would have a conniption.

poll hasn't been taken-we would likely need pollsters w/cajones for thisun; answer'd be interesting.

This article says an awfully lot that should be read and taken to heart in America.

France has allowed the enemy within the gates in huge numbers and they cannot/will not be assimilated into the French Republic, mostly because of their Islamic religion.

France now must make a painful choice whether she wants to be eventulally ruled (probably within a generation) by these people under Sharia Law or take the unpleasant steps required, i.e. deportation of these unassimilables back to wherever they came from. Obviously, most of these people still consider themselves non-Frenchmen as the majority wish to be sent "home" for burial and distain French culture and values. The alternatives for the French are rapidly becoming either eventual bloody civil war or becoming an oppressed people in their own land, living in an Islamic State which then will impose it's values forceably on native Frenchmen.

The French are not the first ones to face this hobbesian choice. The world is full of countries who faced this test and failed. Perhaps France has already reached the tip-over point where they can't recover themselves back to a pre-Islamic society. If so, blood will probably run in the street much thicker than during the worst days of the French Revolution. Either way it is apt to be very bloody.

America faces the same choice France does. But, because of the earlier massive migration of Muslims into France than America, we can see the awful results on a western culture, instead of an African or Asian one. Will we heed the lessons and take the necessary steps to prevent a civil/religious melt down as the French now face or will we look the other way like the others? Given our own propensity of Political Correctness and our ubiquitous political Liberalism, it is highly problematic even at this early stage. Taking action won't get easier as time goes on. One can look at the systemic breakdown in our immigration policies to see the seeds of American destruction have taken wide and strong root. So far, we haven't seen fit to start enforcing our own lax laws and even the head of the INS says we shouldn't!

Once a country is under Muslim rule, there is no turning back short of force of arms. History has already proven that over and over again. Additionally, the arms usually have to come from "outside" as the population is trapped in this demonic straight-jacket of religion/law/culture/brutality.

This Islamic threat to us is as large as Communism was. We better take it as seriously. Unlike the French, we still can stop it before it gets completely out of hand and smothers us in a millenium of tyranny. For France - and perhaps other effete cultures in Europe - it may already be too late.

...Yes, the Algerians have taken over the city - but that's not a bad thing. One cannot tell the difference between a real Frenchwoman and an Algerian/Frenchwoman.

same complexion by now?

The French are onto something here. You invite rattlesnakes into your house and you will get bit.

...All three nations cracked down on the biker gangs. This was aided by the fact that the locals involved were all white.

how?

The Weakly Standard (of the neo-con right) should be shouting from the hilltops for guys like LePen and Buchanan who have been warning us about 3rd world immigration for years.

>MUSLIMS IN FRANCE, like their compatriots, live in a godless consumer culture--but many are putting up a stiffer resistance to it.

You can tell how holy they are by how they treat women.

France, the next Muslim state.

Cultural and religious relativism has its price. Hopefully we'll learn from the French. Hopefully.

Any predictions on how long it will be before some Freeper posts an American instance to match this quote?

One imam in Roubaix met Lille mayor Martine Aubry on the edge of the Muslim-majority neighborhood where he preaches, declaring it Islamic territory into which Mme. Aubry--the most important minister of labor in modern French history, the early favorite to win France's presidential elections in 2007, and the daughter of former prime minister Jacques Delors--had no authority to venture.

about 6 years ago when I dated a young French gal (here in the States) and when we started talking about God she politely informed me "that's old susperstition, nobody in France believes in God anymore."

Somebody forgot to tell the Muslims.

We'll know that France has capitulated completely when the Islamic mineret is added to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

There was no over riding political reason to look the other way for local white bikers compared to muslims.

The revenu minimum d'insertion, France's guaranteed income, which hovers around 500 euros a month, is increasingly deplored as argent braguette ("zipper money").

This little fact is very revealing IMHO. Welfare programs that place no responsibility on the recipients just subsidize self-indulgent behavior. The Western world needs to enforce its own laws on immigrants--such as no more than 1 wife, no enforced marriages of minor girls, etc. The entitlement faucet may serve politicians well in the voting booth but they undermine the societal structure by creating a permanent underclass with children who grow up angry and violent. Welfare reform and tough law enforcement measures like Guiliani's in NYC will reduce welfare fraud and abuse. The multicultural crap about respecting everyone's diverse lifestyles needs to be replaced with a civil ethic of personal responsibility and hard work if the Western world wishes to retain its civilized character.

Suprising that the Weakly Standard would run such a fine piece, in years past I would have had to look in Chronicles to find such a critique of Islam in the West. I guess the Neocons are finding multiculturalism a great hinderance to the war effort after all.

It is in France that, under the pressure of Islam, the secular state is most in danger of being exposed as contentless, and therefore not worth fighting for--and where fears should be arising that, if secularism cannot be fought for as religions are fought for, it will not last long.

Well is it? What is great about America is worth fighting for, but it is also receeding under a withering attack of elitist power and liberal ideology. Would you fight to "save LA" from a hispanic takeover? (Of course they won't need to use arms, demographics work nicely).
