How many kids are you homeschooling and how long have you been at it. I did one our two ten years and they both graduated - now I have a one year old coming up.

I read earlier today they would be evacuating New Braunfels. Not sure about Fredericksburg. It's really, really bad down there.

She put her situation in perfect perspective. What a neat lady. I pray she'll be blessed sweetly...so that she can continue to bless others.

That is really sad. We visited New B. a few years ago and loved it. We went to the water slides and an old mill that was a restaurant. We really loved it. How sad for all of those people. My prayers are sure with them.

I agree with the other poster -- you sound like you're doing fantabuloso.

I always admire people who can spell/use "regimen" correctly. ;-)

Bless her heart. I don't know if it's possible to know what she must be going through, and with all that she's thinking of others.

**How many kids are you homeschooling and how long have you been at it. I did one our two ten years and they both graduated - now I have a one year old coming up. **

We have one child. Her name is Miss Hormone. She's 12 and beginning 7th grade in August. We've been h-schooling since middle of 1st. I lead a support group of 34 families so am busy with them throughout the month. And we rent children.

You have two graduated children and a one year old? What a surprise blessing...or was your wee one planned? How neat!

Lerch is my husband. Miss Hormone is my daughter.

And I, through no fault of my own, sad to report, am your mother. Sigh.

I'm at the age where if I eat I have to exercise for two hours. I don't like the aging process much!

You know what I love to drink now? (I would have spit-scorned it before I gave up sugar.) Flavored seltzers! They are so refreshing, no calories, no sugar, no guilt, carbonated, and taste/smell great. I especially like Talking Rain and Canada Dry flavored seltzers. I usually drink one big bottle (67 oh zees) a day, which gives me my eight glasses of clear white stuff, and it's easy to get the 64 ounces down in that form.

My daughter was named that as well - now at 18 I can say "this too shall pass"

The baby was very planned (it is much more expensive at our age) Had to do reversal surgery. It's better to make these decisions BEFORE you decide you don't want more kids!
