President Bush, along with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Jenna, departed today for their annual trip to Kennebunkport, Maine. Well-wishers gave the President an early birthday send off today since Bush will be spending his birthday, July 6th, in Maine. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I live just off I-5.
Near Seattle.

{{{{{Guido}}}}} Enough is enough, isn't it? Is more rain in the forecast? We have a chance of rain Sunday through Wednesday, oh joy.

You have German towns there. We like that. :o) We have mosquitos and frogs...and big ole hangin spiders sometimes. I hate spiders almost as much as peas.

Make sure you stretch before, 1/2 way, and after your walk, Gretchen. You're doing great!
I use my inhaler about 1/2 way into my routine...and lots of water. lots.

By the time I read through all of these notes, I felt right at home. It is sure great to listen in on people who admire GWB and the job he is doing. Keep up the chatting!

Here's the URL for the FReeper whose home was washed away in a flood in Texas.
http://www.freerepublic.com/fo cus/news/711336/posts
From the post: "Freeper Texana_RED's home was washed away in the devastating floods that are hitting Texas right now. Some of you may have seen video of a house in Kerrville floating downstream, then hitting a tree, and disintegrating. That was Texana_RED's home. Some of you may have seen an interview showing a woman on televison pointing to her red pickup truck which was lodged in a tree. That was Texana_RED. She literally got out with her pajamas, with 2 of her dogs. She lost the rest of her pets, and all the contents of her house, and workshop."
Donations can be made to help her on the above thread.

There's no place for them to stay in Crawford. It's only about 750 people and no hotels. The town is literally two blocks long. Waco is a quick 15 minute drive from Crawford so they stay there. Yes, Baylor has a football team in the Big 12 conference. They usually finish in the bottom quarter of the conference, lol. If I see Wolfie I will be sure to give him a wedgie!

3-4 miles and 4-5 times per week? wow! I'd say you're doing amazingly well!

Oh, good grief. Come back, you know you're invited. What an attention getter you are! Did you take your meds like your mother told you to?
To: McLynnan; The Californian

You like German towns? There are a lot of them in this part of the state. One of them, New Braunfels, is being evacuated because of the flooding. They have the best smokehouse there.
To: GretchenEE
Oh aren't you the funny one!!!!!!! But hey with us Texans, anything is possible, that is why they continue to say DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS!!!
