LOL - you people kill me. Where did I say one should restrict protein intake? One should increase it!

I'm 275lbs and I've been known to leg press 20 plates (45's) for sets of 10 and bench 390 for sets of 10. (hope that answers any questions about MY qualifications...)

You could never do that on the Atkins Diet...

Nope, there are lot of us out there who do! What is amazing to me is that there are folks who actually get ANGRY when they are told about how successful this diet is! How puzzling to see all these hostile responses.

Nor would I do it following your dietary advice. To build muscle you need to follow a diet that is a LOT closer to Adkins than the food pyramid.

I have a feeling that you'd proably agree that most people in this great country are fat because they eat too damn much food of all kinds (protein, fats and carbs) for their activity level.
