Perhaps the analogy of you to Senators is inaccurate -- but probably not. Possibly it's a non sequitur -- to that end the reader can decide for themselves. The rest stands and speaks for itself. I'm merely saying that a vigorous aerobic and weight training regimen, coupled with low carbs, is more healthy than the Atkins Diet or ephreda (both have been shown to be good ways to lose weight).
