Dana is the enemy. I use the word advisedly, and I suspect she would agree in her honest moments, if she has any; this is the sort of individual who preens under the protection of the First Amendment while doing everything possible to undermine its foundation. Intelligentsia like her actually managed it in Russia, and for their efforts were the first stood up against the wall. "Radicals" such as she have managed to leverage glib, jargon-laden crap to a salary-paying art, courtesy of a stock-holding, multinational corporation that is the modern university in a thin disguise. I note that that does not seem to be preventing her from cashing her copious paycheck.

I RESENT THAT REMARK. I teach computer science courses at a small university. I am a rabid conservative - and my co-workers and students know it. Every semester, I have my students write a fairly complex and involved program to help locate/track the "bad guys" - and they love it, even the foreign students. PLEASE don't label us all with the same description. Some of us are trying to help the others see the light!
