Excellent thinking! However the condition of the Jeep on Jun 8 and the mileage points to a long drive, maybe they had to go to a Plan B for delivery. Who do you think the fellow across the street that gave Ricci a lift home on Jun 8 would have been talking to on his phone call there? Maybe they had put Elizibeth in a cabin somewhere tied up, then called the people when they got back to town as they had been instructed to let them know she was now there for them to pick up and they were back in Salt Lake.

and Yes; I agree with you about the long drive. Last week someone else posted the possibility that RAR, was burying money out of town, in a location in the pines. not a body. That being if the motive for the kidnapping was big money. I am thinking if this was planned and Ricci arranged to kidnap ES, for some old rich goat.

Maybe Ricci first had the money in the Cat hole, then decided to find a place no one would find it, in the pines. (All projecting possible scenario's.)

truthfully sherlock, I hadn't given any thought to the driver of get away car. However, I will say that "he knows who he is". The fact that he has not come forward sure makes him look suspicious. If he has nothing to hide, why not come forward.
