A fossil previously mistaken for the remains of an extinct fish turns out to hold the earliest known creature to have emerged from the Earth's waters and walk on land some 350 million years ago.

This ancestor of every four-limbed, backboned animal living today -- the first creature clearly designed to walk on land, with forward-facing feet -- fills a major gap in the evidence for the evolution of vertebrates from sea to land, scientists say.

There wasn't a spontaneous transmogrification of fins into feet amongst the entire species, which is what evolution predicts (according to ignorant morons), thus alligators, crocodiles, salamanders and turtles don't count. Since frogs may count because of their life cycle, they must be ignored until some verbal gymnastics are constructed so that they "don't count".

I get it now, if I believe in Evolution, there is nothing to stop me from being an immoral person. In other words, if there is NO threat of eternal damnation, then there is no reason to be a good person to my fellow man, woman and whatever.

That is the biggest crock of crap I have heard in a while, a man who is moral for the sake of being moral, without the threat of eternal damnation has more of my respect then some dolt who needs that threat in order to be a good person.

If you need that threat in order to be good to others, then you have far more problems then most.

I believe in evolution, I am nonreligious, so what? I am a moral person, I know the differnece between good and evil, and choose the good for myself, and my family. I am married, have children, I have not had an affair, I do not do things just because they feel good. I do what is right, because it is the right thing to do, for myself, my family, and my community, NOT because I may go to hell when I die.

Let me give you a clue, NO ONE knows what happens when you die, why, because those that have experienced it are DEAD, and unless you can talk to the dead, there are no witness'. No matter how much you like to fool yourself. So, maybe I die and poof, I am done, or maybe I go to the happy hunting ground, maybe I go to heaven, or maybe I am reincarnated into a another body. Who knows? NO ONE knows!! Not even you!!
