I lived in Lake Tahoe for 12 years and worked at Heavenly for 4.5 years and know the area like the back of my hand.
Can you pin-point more exactly where the fire is? Is it comming up the old chair line southeast of The Ridge Tahoe?
The whole basin has been a tinder box since the early 80's.
