At least we didn't end up with Villagarosa (sp?)... Still Hanh is bad enough...
Good point. La Opinion would have been his official press office.

And this isn't a "pathetic" attempt, this "terrorist" has done his job. If you don't believe me, turn on the t.v. Of course it is. Very pathetic. The only thing I see on my TV right now is the local stations' weather forecasts for fireworks tonite.
The only coverage is on the all-news cable stations.
The only "terror" you'll see is on this thread....

What's a coincidence? Calling it an isolated incident.
It means: "The others got away"

-< ?Ôould very well be correct. Somebody said earlier they "closed down" or "evacuated" the entire airport. I HOPE you are right. Evacuating a terminal 2 miles away from the El Al terminal after a local shooting is an overreaction to say the least. But ... I don't put it past these guys.
That was me... I was transcribing KABC reports as they came in, unfiltered... some were conflicting and so some were obviously going to be wrong, sorry about the confusion.

There were too FEW guns here. If a few more people had been armed and properly trained, they could have dropped him before he shot as many people as he did. Maybe before he shot anybody I work with a guy who once carried a loaded gun in his car when he went to LAX to pick up his mother-in-law from Germany. He was really sweating it because after he picked up the M-I-L, he couldn't find his car!
The armed troops in the airports in Germany and Italy left me with the thought that anybody getting stupid wouldn't last long.
Seeing our NG walking around our airports with no ammo left me wondering what us pilgrims would do if someone got stupid in our airports.

My pal is a fireman in an outer suburb of Mpls and he told me that every cop and fireman is on duty tonight. It comporises the normal firefighting personnel who always supervise the fireworks show AND off duty guys are working security to support the cops. One of the things they ARE doing is closely monitoring the movement of vehicles away from normal parking areas. They have it covered, no trucks get past a perimeter. It's a security priority, at least up here.

Southwest Airlines does not dislike "fatties" , They simply restated a policy of LONG standing. Most other large carriers have had the same policy for along time also. The news media is to lazy to do their homework, It would not make such a sensational story if they gave all the facts.
Good luck with United LOL

Another witness on FNC
5 feet away guy with pistol shooting at counter
witness hid behind counter,
security pulled him down second guy came out and third guy came out and shot the perp and five people held him down
slightly tan, hard to tell if he was American or not...
heard 5-6 shots...
reports first person went down was in line and then someone
else in line and then woman behind the counter...

Why is a congresswoman there if this isn't a big deal??
From what I know of congresswoman watson she is an idiot I am sure she is there to protect poor muslims from profiling
FNC interviewing witnesses, apparently Milli Vanilli was a witness.

Thanks for the info. Guess they roughed O' Reilly up pretty good. I'm not taking much stuff, wearing sandals and let me put it this way - THE TICKET WAS REAL CHEAP. Guess they're rep is getting around. The worst part of my journey will be the airbus from Fla to Denver. I have 3 Boeings other than that. I'm a little creeped out but I want to go to Friva Las Vegas more than not. That's a ringing endorsement plus my brother lives there.
