I am impressed that you went to Gil Hodges house. I have read about him but was not following the Dodgers when they were in Brooklyn. Did you ever go to Ebbets Field? I went to Yankee Stadium one time and saw Maris and Mantle. And did you read Roger Kahn's other baseball book "Season in the Sun". I have not read that one but think I will put it on my list of Books to read real soon...So did you meet Roger Kahn when he signed your book or did you pay oodles of money for it on EBay, lol...

Spent many a happy time at Ebbets Field with my Dad! I got to go to Hodges house on a Catholic school outing.....he was a devout Catholic.

No, I haven't read the other Kahn book but will look for it. I found the autographed copy of the "Boys" in a used book store a few years ago and got it for only $5.00!
