Louie, I want to express some late condolances on your loss of Darryl Kile. He was a special guy, and probably THE leader with Edmonds on that team. I met him down at LaQuinta during some Qwest golf party when he was with the Rockies. He was a really humble and funny guy. He laughed when I proposed that every pitcher should have exactly the same number of Hit Batsmen as Home Runs allowed. You know -the Gibson/Drysdale factor. Hit a dinger off of Bobby or Don, the next batter gets drilled. He said he couldn't throw hard enough to make the plunking a deterrence. He's gonna be missed.

That he was. St.Louis's outpouring of love for him would have made him proud.

LOL! Yeah, they said he was funny and an extremely nice guy. Did a lot of charity work here in 'Louie'.

He's gonna be missed.

God rest his soul.

Good to see you Arne.
