The President talking about his laundry was priceless in his speech today. The First Lady seemed quite surprised by his little joke.Ok don't stop there, you must share the joke. Some of us were TV deprived as I took my 8yr old and 2 friends to the opening of LIKE MIKE.

Let me just say this. I golfed today in 90 degree heat with nasty humidity, and I sweat like a pig. What a charming visual, huh? Thankfully, the sprinklers were turned on on holes 15 and 16, so were ran through them like kids through a hydrant. It was awesome. But the heat was just nasty.

Oh my gosh, the man is sweating. I love to see those pixs of him sweating. Am I sick? I hope not, I even love to see my husband sweat. But boy did I hate to have to see the sweat under gores arms during the election. oh sorry I know that just killed the moment. Why is it that George W. sweating is sexy and Al Gore sweating is just plain repulsive? Must be one of those weird mysteries of life, huh?

Brit Hume showed it at the end of Special Report on Fox News...You can catch it at the rerun of his show, which will be on at 12 AM Eastern Time. It is definitely worth it!

you're welcome...I'm thinking of watching it again, just to see Laura's reaction again. It's so funny when he catches her off guard.

Playful, yes(I saw the clip)! But you
just know somebody will say he pulled
a Clinton by..........uh...mentioning
his underwear. Demeaning the Office,
no dignity & honor like he pledged...
blah blah & blah etc. etc. & etc. LOL

Our President is enjoying the Fourth and leading by example.
Dosers with Direct TV:
Channel 806 is playing Fourth of July music. I love Fourth of July music. I've always been a flag-waver and even make a point of putting out red, white, and blue petunias with a small flag. One outcome of that horrible 9-11 was that it was made possible to buy patriotic CDs and T-shirts.

Because of who he is, George W. Bush mentioning underwear is entirely different than Bill Clinton doing so. Clinton can't even say an innocent word like "cigar" without without invoking demeaning and undignified connotations.

About the sweating--I was thinking of the same thing, how manly he looks all sweaty and about the time I was reading your comments about Gore, I too was thinking but there must be more to this sweat thing b/c Gore got Bush beat in the amount of body fluids he loses and that is only when he speaks yuk!! when he moves around (watch out monsoon on its way)

George W. sweats when he is doing something that would normally cause an active, fit man to sweat, whereas Gore sweats at times when an active fit man would stay dry. Make sense?
