In a ceremony at the White House today, President Bush celebrated the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Bush also signed an executive order intended to help Indian tribal colleges and universities. Later in the day, the President kicked off the holiday week with a rtound of golf at Andrews Air Force Base Golf Course. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I don't think he looks too thin anymore -- must have been the cut of his fancy suit that got some folks worried a few days ago.

Wow, great pictures!! What a generous amount of chest hair he's showing in picture #5 (are you looking, Wphile, OhioWfan?)
To: ThePythonicCow
Yeah, he did lose weight since becoming President, and I don't think he's had his suits tailored.

Good thing you showed up when you did, mombonn. This would have been a real quite night otherwise. Must be folks celebrating Independence Day.

There might be some on yesterday's thread. We joked about that sign being in the White House bathroom after x42 left.

Ok - I wasn't following as close as some of you Bush Babes.

I love the high resolution pictures, thanks. Deciding which one to use as wallpaper. Tough decision!

Hello all! I needed some cheering up tonight, so I decided a visit to the Dose would do the trick.
The President talking about his laundry was priceless in his speech today. The First Lady seemed quite surprised by his little joke.

Oh my gosh, the man is sweating. I love to see those pixs of him sweating. Am I sick? I hope not, I even love to see my husband sweat. But boy did I hate to have to see the sweat under gores arms during the election. oh sorry I know that just killed the moment.
Once again Oh my gosh he is sweating!!!!!!

An excerpt from the President's speech
You know, it's amazing -- it's fitting, and amazing, when you think about it, that we're holding this event here in the East Room, because this is where Lewis lived when he was Jefferson's private secretary. Not a bad room. (Laughter.) They tell me, though, that back then the room was damp and depressing. The second First Lady who lived here, Abigail Adams, actually used to hang the washing here. (Laughter.) And I want to thank Laura for getting my underwear out before the event started. (Laughter.)
