In a ceremony at the White House today, President Bush celebrated the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Bush also signed an executive order intended to help Indian tribal colleges and universities. Later in the day, the President kicked off the holiday week with a rtound of golf at Andrews Air Force Base Golf Course. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

When you are a Republican. Don't you remember?
How are you tonight?

The new, new man grates on my nerves just like the old algor. He's as repulsive and dangerous as ever. He think his speaking style is impressive. He and Gephardt's speaking style remind me of the Third Reich.

I forgot. Liberals think only rich Democrats earned their money -- like Terry McAuliffe. I couldn't be better, what about you? I see your monsoon finally stopped. Hope there was no flooding at your house.

And he completely ignores all the real crooks - Clinton, Rubin, Ron Brown (rest his soul), Al Gore, etc. They looked a blind eye the entire time. And all this trashing of Harvey Pitt is nauseating. The guy has had the job for a year and all this is coming to light. Arthur Levitt had the job for God knows how many and not a scandal or investigation. Levitt turned a blind eye.
I was watching Kudlow and Cramer this evening and they were reading their email. A couple dealt with W and how he is in the pocket of big business (yawn!) and that this is all his fault. Both Kudlow (not surprising) and Cramer ( a bit surprising since he's a Dem) took aim at those emails and told them they were flat wrong. The timing of the chicanery was under Clinton, not Bush.

"I did mist her earlier. Looking for a fire hose...... "
Don't think that would work. Maybe we should just dunk her in the ocean.

Hey, thanks and let's pray and hope for an uneventful 4th of July. Lots of alerts out there, evidently. Please God, don't let it be so.

This speaks to the desperation of the Dems. They know that with W's current poll numbers there is NO way they can regain the White House in 2004. They are digging way back hoping to find a scandal that will stick, and it ain't going to work!

I'm fine, just very very tired. Was on my way to bed and decided to check the dose to calm me down to sleep. Actually we are in the middle of another thunderstorm as I write but they are getting farther apart. After the storms last night and the fire I am exhausted. Take care.

What the Rats just have not figured out is America LIKES Bush. That is their problem. Many people will vote for a canidate they like even if they don't like their politics. People like Dubya. Furthermore a majority trust him. A winning combination!!!

My husband woke me at 4 this morning and said one of the houses across the street was on fire. I jumped up and went to the front door and the house on the corner had been struck by lightning and was in total flames. It was a total loss. There were 2 fire trucks and all the neighbors gathered in the street and it was pouring down rain and thundering and lightning. It was like a nightmare. The flames were shooting real high and they had water going on it from 2 sides and it was raining like crazy and it still burned up. Just the brick siding around the bottom part of the house and the brick frame to the front porch and a few charred side timbers. But the family got out safely. I saw the insurance guy taking pictures about 10 this morning.
