THAT IS PATHETIC!!! The number has become absolutely meaningless and the younger kids have no clue how much it can hurt them in the wrong hands. It's not even suppose to be used as an ID number in the first place. I know you know this..I'm just ranting..I would have MADE A NUMBER UP... I would have told them to put 234-56-7890.
But,but,but, that might have been the SS No. of someone who has the worst credit report there is and I wouldn't get insurance then.
Like I said this made me real upset. We hear be careful with our SS No. because people can use it and ruin our life.
