I even have doubt that she was murdered, atleast "beyond a reasonable doubt". No cause of death has been established.

I uderstand. But 7 year old kid, who should be in abed sleeping -shows up 5 miles away --dead. That is some bad intent. What I think is silly is that the law thinks a neighbor two doors down committed the crime.
And whiffs the parents.

Someone had statistics on an earlier thread that showed that accidential death of small children was more likely than death at the hands of a stranger. What makes this appear to be a murder is the failing to report it and the dumping, not forensic evidence of murder.

If the van Dams were involved in even more drugs than we know of, it would explain the need for the coverup. I don't know, I just have reasonable doubt.

Accidental death, hide the body, dump later also seems to fit better than murder and dump. It almost seems as if someone had to have closure after being tormented for a week or two.

Somehow it's easier for me to believe in an accident than to believe anyone of these admittedly perverted people could have willing killed a 7 year old girl. The coverup, I can see, they had a lot to hide, some of which we may not know about.
