I was listening to court TV. They were talking about the porn sites. Who was accessing them. The prosecuter brought out the fact that one of the sites had an access number that was the last four digits of the older Westerfield. The defense objected. I think it was over ruled.

Taking the statement of defense in a DENIED motion as gospel is not a balanced approach.

We have an unconfirmed rumor that BRENDA pointed pointed police at DW during a statement she made to them. Defense stated that Police admitted they then embellished that statement and used it to obtain a search warrant for DW's house and possessions. We don't have confirmation as the motion to allow this in court was denied.

Is that a fairer statement of the facts?

He didn't say if they used Encase on the CDs/zips. He just said that he took the media to the lab, and made copies of them onto their hard drive, then examined the contents.

Okay. Just took a brief trip through Encase's website. Though I'm no computer geek, and husband-the-compu-guy isn't here to translate, my understanding of Encase (from their product specifications) is that the data has to be on a hard drive or a network server in order to be accessed. If I'm reading that correctly, that means that the Cds/zip disks could not be "Encased" before they were dumped onto a HD.
