Of course an aethist can be an American, but they don't have the right to rewrite history and to take back the words of the Declaration of Independence. We are a country founded by God fearing men. We open all of our legistlative sessions with a prayer. We are a nation under God, not Without God.

The lawsuit was bogus. He filed it on the behalf of a second grader who he said didn't want to say " Under God". That second grader and her mother are both Christians who had nothing do to with the suit.
