Uh huh. If people only practiced prevention. I wonder if the gay leaders will finally get the word out for people to stop engaging in unsafe sex.

A peculiar thought occurred to me (not uncommon per se).

I wonder if the promiscuous segment of the gay community aren't promiscuous because they're gay, but rather they're gay because they're promiscuous. Or, to put it more expansively, perhaps there is a tendency to promiscuity among certain men that they find easiest to satisfy in the homosexual lifestyle.

Has any research been done on this angle, or has it been considered and deemed to stupid to investigate?

As another poster said, I believe most gay men would not want to 'ruin the mood' and announce that they have AIDS.

And when his parner wants to 'ride bareback' perhaps the catcher and the pitcher may be too drunk or stoned to care..
