Which brings me to Al Gore. He's a shameless hypocrite. And it is about time the American press began to call him on it.

Yes, he is. However, I doubt very much that will happen.

Bill and Al were too busy waging war on the property rights of Americans to worry about getting Osama.

Clinton's Legacy : 3000 dead Americans on September 11. 2001.

Algore and Babbitt's Legacy: Our forests up in flames!!

Gore's attack has no parallel in American political history. Imagine Wendall Wilkie attacking FDR in September of 1942

Our current war isn't "hot" like WWII, we're at a period of relative calm. And this "war" is going to go on for a long time.

Criticism should be welcomed.

Good God, we just barely got rid of that pompous jerk, and here is he again running for President already. Wonder he didn't start screaming about still wanting the "votes" to be counted.
The idea of a former administration attacking the new one is unheard of in this nation. They usually behave as elder statesmen. But then along came Clinton/Gore and we will never be the same.

This article suggests it is about time the media calls him on his lies, yeah right, when pigs fly.

Thanks for posting this, Hugh Hewitt puts it plain and simple. And as another Freeper said on an earlier post, The reason why Al Gore can get away with these bogus claims and accusations is that the press today no longer supports America and the Constitution. So that is whay he is able to spew such "Patent nonsense" (Colin Powell's words last Sunday Morning)

For years I have a simple question/statement:

When do left wing liberals lie to Americans?

That's too easy. When their lips are moving. (drum roll, rim shot)

You are correct. That was what I used to say that, until a former liberal, who is now a very strong conservative gave a more complete and accurate answer:

His answer to my question, "When do liberals lie to Americans?":

AS LONG AS THEY ARE STILL BREATHING!

His answer is based on personal observation of these bastards he has known since college, relatives on both sides and the ones he has known the past 30 years as an adult. In fact he was married to one until he wised up and divorced her and ended up with custody of their daughters.

Gore, by contrast, is oblivious to his own record. His attack on the conduct of the war earned some tut-tuts from the punditry, but not one elected Democrat rose to blast him.

Thanks for the ping, RonDog. Mr. Hewitt spoke for most Americans, imho. Al should have been with the troops during Vietnam, learning the meaning of courage and sacrifice. His attack on our nation and our President was an attack on every brave soldier serving...against an enemy Al hasn't even begun to know.

You have made me laugh so hard. The truth is quite simple. The ol' Tipster would have gotten out the rocking chair, and fed gorey a bunch of her anit-depressant meds.

Sure Al,we know how you fight a war looking at your service in Vietnam. We all know about Daddy's little arrangement that made sure you'd be out of harms way.

I hope Powell's example is the new order of the day. Too much nonsense is being spouted by the left to allow it to go unanswered.

Absolutely!
