Gore's attack has no parallel in American political history. Imagine Wendall Wilkie attacking FDR in September of 1942

Our current war isn't "hot" like WWII, we're at a period of relative calm. And this "war" is going to go on for a long time.

Thanks for posting this, Hugh Hewitt puts it plain and simple. And as another Freeper said on an earlier post, The reason why Al Gore can get away with these bogus claims and accusations is that the press today no longer supports America and the Constitution. Thanks for the ping, RonDog. Mr. Hewitt spoke for most Americans, imho. Al should have been with the troops during Vietnam, learning the meaning of courage and sacrifice. His attack on our nation and our President was an attack on every brave soldier serving...against an enemy Al hasn't even begun to know.
