Of course, I have a life... chasing ambulances around your county, no doubt.

LOL ... oOOoh ... you sound so tough and brave Mr. Laaw-yer.

You couldn't have filled Michael News boots for a nanosecond back then, or now.

Yes, he did. He has the admiration of a lot of people. He holds the status of hero and beacon to others who need to see that there are people in this world who actually care.

Mike New has been twice convicted of forging prescriptions for narcotics and for attempting to sell the same, and has done time for it. That is not someone I would choose to admire.

Lee Harvey Osweld allegedly took the life of the President of the United States. Michael took a stand. Huge difference, not even the same ball park.

You have some gall to say this after you used Hitler as an example.

I've read quite a few comments by Mr. VA in other threads. I've come to the conclusion that he a republicratic statist. If he were alive during the days of our founding fathers, he would have been considered a Tory and shunned accordanly. From what I gather in reading the (admittedly) few threads I've seen his name in, his belief appears to be that the government is never wrong and anyone who questions anyone in any position of authority is not only a threat to society but a traitor also.

If he ever did serve, he was probably a Frank Burns type leg REMF.

RLTW!

Michael New is a PATRIOT for not bowing down to the UN scum.

So what does that make him? That's Colonel William R. Higgins, USMC, Chief, Observer Group Lebanon and Senior Military Observer, United States Military Observer Group, United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (Palestine). Murdered by pro-Iranian terrorists in Lebanon some time in 1988 or 1989. Is he scum, too?

A real solider must at ALL times keep their military bearing.

Just like all those good little NAZIs who were tried at Nuremburg. This man was able to recognize an illegal order and he refused to follow it. That was what Nuremburg was all about.

Rules of war allow for a person captured in the battlezone out of uniform to be tried as a spy, not treated as a prisoner of war. His uniform was that issued by the United States of America. No american military person can be ordered to be a spy.

Um, if it was an illegal order, why did he get a bad conduct discharge instead of the metal of honor?

He disobeyed an ILLEGAL order.

Violette seems to argue that this was an immoral, not an illegal order. And we know. . . .well, I know you're not going to play the good morals card with me? :)

Trust me, this guy just sounds like one of more of those loud mouthed, east-coast druggie-yuppie laaw-ya-libertarians, whose total understanding of the military comes from Gomer Pyle reruns.

National Sovereignty means nothing to him ... The State Is Our God.

I've read and responded to many of his asinine posts. I was surpried that he let his real backgroung slip when he used the term gringo. I suspect that he is part of the vast illegal immigrant society in this country.

He also made the comment about something not happening in his america. I suspect that when he refers to his america, he means after the attempt by his fellow illegals to take over this country. He is an ass.

What, no snappy reply to my post 72? You gonna want to know about my service record? Fine, Commander, USNR. Born and raised in Illinois. DMG, University of Illinois Navy ROTC. Nine years active duty in DD's, DDG's and FFG's with the Atlantic Fleet. Recalled to fight the Battle of the Pentagon during Desert Storm. And if I ever had an insubordinate SOB like Mike New under my command I'd kick is ass from here to next Christmas and then I'd toss what was left of it into the brig.
