[history]
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to potty train the public Monday with a ban on answering nature's call in public, in response to growing complaints about unpleasant sights and smells on city sidewalks.
The board's unanimous vote came as a surprise after months of rancor. Even the most liberal supervisors went along with the ban on public urination and defecation, despite lobbying by homeless advocates and calls for more public toilets.

I thought I had it rough! I (seriously) am trying to talk my husband into agreeing to sell our house and move because, among other things, our neighbour spits off his porch.
I don't know what I'd think, do or say if I went out and saw him taking a 'krap' over the railing... !...!...*LOL*

This ban is an affront to the homeless and will be struck down by the local judiciary in short order.Probably. San Francisco, blessed with natural beauty rivalled by few cities in the world, became a moral sewer decades ago. Allowing people to urinate and defecate in the streets is entirely fitting to its current social mileau.
May the judges strike the law down and allow San Francisco residents to indulge fully and freely in filth of very kind. Let their noses, mouths, and eyes be filled with such an excess of filth that they choke.
Except for the high taxes, San Francisco is a libertarian paradise.

The funny thing is that San Fran is experiencing anguish over the decision while the rest of the country can't believe that this is not a policy already. Its even a good health policy for the city, but SF is so out of whack that its come to this. Simply put; liberalism = savagery and filth.

I used to live there. Left in the late '80's. Today its a completely different city. The streets reek of rancid, acidic urine. The 'homeless' are straight out of BladeRunner. Thanks WILLIE !!...you lying prick.

It's not Willie Brown, it's the DA Terrance Hallinan who prosecutes no crimes against the homeless. If a bum is pissing on your garage and you spray a hose at him, you're more likely to be charged with a crime than the bum.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Will Make Shur the Homeless and Tourists Can Mess At Will.
I havent been in the city for a few months, and have gone rarely the last few years.
Its too bad really. San Francisco still has a lot to offer.. some great vistas... If yur lucky , your upwind of stinky the street urchin and can keep yur gourmet lunch down

I'm sure that a few of Ozzy's defenders will oppose this measure...

Wait until the 9th circuit court of appeals hears this. They will overturn it so fast it will make your head spin. They will rule it is unfair to the homeless.

care to elaborate?

If a homeless person is walking around with an extra daily $600-700 to pay fines for peeing, etc., would they not be able to rent a home, thus no longer be homeless, thus not need to pee on the curb? Many of the aggressive panhandlers are indeed richer than you or I. You'd be surprised how many homeless say: "It's not so bad being homeless. At least I don't have to work for a living as the fools do!"

...in response to growing complaints about unpleasant sights and smells on city sidewalks. What is left unsaid is that the "growing complaints" have been coming in for the past 15 years, but the liberal professional victim groups always have to approve of any actions by the perverted and seditious City Supervisors.

There have been several threads on Ozzy and the tv show The Osbournes. Some of his defenders have been blind in their praise (I have no particular beef and know personally a band that has toured the Ozzfest as well as being signed to his wife's label).
Some of his defenders thought that it was no big deal that he urinated on the Alamo and some even thought that it was funny. When he did it, he was unaware of any signifigance. It was explained to him and then in concert he mentioned that he was proud of what he did and that he "planned" to urinate on the White House.
Thus, some (not all) of Ozzy's fans on FR feel that Ozzy (and others?) should be permitted to urinate on buildings. SF deserves no special status.
