To: Slings and Arrows
Pound for pound, the best pet you could own (IMO). Up until my stroke, I owned three of them. They truly do get a bad rap for being overly active. With a little TLC, these highly-intelligent dogs are easily trained.

I agree with every word, Doc-Joe.

My JRT is so smart that she scares me. A few years she figured out how to unlock and open a window, and did so while I was out of the house. She then figured out how to take a dowel out of window jamb (prior to unlocking and opening the window). When I finally got the window to stay closed (curtain rod where she couldn't reach it), she got even by widdling on my bed.

My condolences re the stroke. I'll give Janey an extra hug and pat for you.
