There were some new faces and many of the die hard regulars there this week. Freepers CardCarryingMember.VastRightWC, RMRattlesnake and his family along with fivetoes were in attendance.
My TRT attitude crept in as I did get vocal with the antis across the street. I asked them, rather loudly how osama and the al-qaida gang was doing. The mexican protest bus was absent this week. I think they were off to another part of the country. Perhaps your home town. Check their schedule here mexicopeace.org
CardCarryingMember.VastRightWC once again wins the award for the best signs. He has a an ever increasing variety of signs that are in need of someone to hold. (hint all you have to do is show up).
With the recent court ruling that the Pledge of Allegiance is unconstitutional we responded by saying the Pledge, not once, but twice. It was a spontaneous recital led by yours truly that sent those little goose bumps up and down your arm. Imagine, if on every major intersection throughout the country random outbreaks of the Pledge of Allegiance happened.
We were, or should I say they were joined by someone from our side. He was a rather large individual that I don?t think they wanted to cross. It was comical watching as he stood right behind them as they held their signs up. He was giving both thumbs down right over their signs.
As always, members of the Fife and Drum Corps played the drums and bagpipes.
It is quite inspirational to hear the car horns honking and seeing the thumbs up of the passers by. Please come out and join us for a wonderful all American hour every Saturday from noon until 1:00 PM. We usually get out of the heat by heading over to the VFW hall afterwards.
Next week, if I have the time I think I will make some signs that say Al-Qaida Support Group and We are Clueless, put them in the side windows of my truck?s topper and park it right next to the anti?s rally point.
There was a cute little clueless young lady, who looked to be around 14 years old, not quite enough to pay taxes, holding a sign that read ?SPEND BILLIONS on EDUCATION INSTEAD OF WAR. I told (shouted at) her that education was not in the Constitution and she gave me one of those ?deer in the headlights looks?. I imagine she probably was thinking something like ?So what, who cares?.
They had another sign that read NO MORE WAR FOR OIL. The irony obviously escaped them when they all got into gas and oil dependent vehicles as they left their corner.
A picture of our side of the street.
Fivetoes with his ultra-portable, double sided sign. The other side reads Honk if You Love Liberty.
CardCarryingMember.VastRightWC is all smiles holding his latest creation.
We had two drums and a bagpiper this week. These Fife and Drum folks are the busiest people in the freedom mocement, bar none!
A VFW member and his sign. It looks like a CCMVRWC sign.
Another shot of the crowd,
Here is a shot of the thumbs down guy standing behind the pacifists.

FReePing! : )
Better pictures of the drummers are here, that is unless you like that particular drummer. 8-)
I thought maybe the local Radio Shack, but no. There are some available on e-bay, but I prefer to walk in, buy something with cash and walk out.
Great Freep Fivetoes!!!!!
Please put me on your Ping list Fivetoes. Thank you so much.
SALUTE to the Colorado FReepers!
