good post. But there are two parts to their illogic. The first are the problems you pointed out. They were never slaves, No one alive today has owned slaves, therefore we owe them nothing. The second problem here is that they are only targeting the U.S. The Brits had slaves long long before we did, and Africa is still doing it! But not one person has bugged these countries for reparations. Just another anti-America group trying to villify our country.

Why is it never mentioned that the ones who captured blacks in 18th and 19th century Africa and sold them into slavery were arab muslims? They still practice slavery in some muslim countries, Sudan being one example. But black muslims seem to be the ones who holler the most about how they have been so oppressed by whites.
