No, that's not what I'm saying. The judge will determine what evidence is relevant to the case. If a judge allows a defense team to show the police and prosecution engaged in a "rush to judgement" I say more power to them and let the jury decide. (Perhaps you "rushed to judgement on my comment")

I was under the impression everything was rushed through because the defense wanted a speedy trial. I heard some news person, probably on ctv... say that dusek wanted a 2-3 more months to do some deeper investigations..IE:get more of DW's backgground established etc..but the defense didnt' want that.

Also, Isn't it strange that the ME released her body so soon.

Ok, here is another point that seems to be causing excitement that I don't get. I distinctly remember OJ at Nicole's funeral. I remember the Bonnie Blakely funeral and Robert Blake being in attendance. The work gets done on the body and the family is free to bury it or cremate. What's the big deal?

We disagree.

Ah, and there's the rub! Yes we do. If we were on a different thread/subject, we might be in total agreement.

But, how wonderful it is to have that disagreement. It makes all the typing worth it. I make tons of speculations and what helps the most is them to be torn down. That eliminates a possibility. And we would all like to have all the 'ifs' taken away, one by one, until we have the actual TRUTH. What it is, I don't think any of us know.

Until then feel free to keep challenging anything I say. Maybe together, all of us can find the truth, even though in the end, we may not like it.

The defendant has a right to a speedy trial....the prosecution should have had their evidence, background checks, and investigations done before charging the man in a death penalty case.......had to get those poll numbers up tho....IMO.

LOL, they did and today I watched a bit of Court TV and saw a replay of what others here had seen earlier. Feldman was trying to explain to the judge why their witness list isn't complete. It was because the trial came upon them so suddenly! Only a defense attorney!

The dinner sounds great.

Well, UCANSEE2, I must say I appreciate that. I think most of what you say about this case is far out there. BUT, you don't mind the back and forth.

So the ME released the body to the family within days, without all of her body parts. The family didn't bury Danielle, but cremated. This was my discussion with the other poster.

You're saying that the ME and Prosec. did this so so that DW could have a speedy trial?? I don't understand.... I've seen other cases where body's are held by ME for a while, even while trials go on.

See, I think the evidence shows they did just that. They haven't complained about time constraints. It's the DNA tests--the nuclear tests---that take literally months to conduct. But they got their ducks in a row and got the work done. Perhaps there are some items still being tested but they've presented their case. It's Feldman that was hemming and hawing today about having his witness list complete yet.

It's hard to say and I certainly have no inside information on this. I was reading an article this evening where fellow lawyers said that it was unlike Feldman to seek a hasty trial and there was speculation that the defendant was pressing him. In the end this will surely work to David Westerfield's advantage. I just hope that it won't allow a child molestor out in the public if indeed he is guilty.

Also, just for the record, I think the prosecution made a mistake asking for the death penalty on this one.

If Danielle wasn't injured in anyway IE:shot, stabbed, runover by a vehicle, etc. What happened to her blood? Say, she was suffocated then placed at Dehasa, the animals destroyed parts of her body, where was the blood? Would it not have seeped in the ground,at least some and wouldn't that be easy to spot?

Hey, cync, I think Leilani is just a visitor from another dimension. She dropped in through a timewarp, as she was discussing the recent death of a rock star. Maybe you had the same mixup she had. A short circuit in the FR posting mechanism.

I was wondering 'if' that's why the body was released early..maybe it wasn't. sorry it wasn't clearer. Sometimes I type and post too quickly.

Rheo, true..he does have that right, but he could have waved it..I'm thinking he was afraid to wave it for a reason...am thinking the mom, background..something is there they don't want found. (that's just speculation of course)

What's the big deal?

You are exactly right. THe family has the right to have their ceremonies and proper burial without intervention. The big deal is that so much of the Prosecution's latest evidence pertained to materials found on the body. Some would like it to be gone over again, possibly. Another thing is the unanswered questions about the cause of death. Were certain toxins, drugs checked for? If DW gets off, maybe they need to go back in re-investigate her body.

This has come up in many cases where bodies are exhumed and re-examined. By having the body cremated, this is no longer possible, so it really is a moot point. Again, as asked, why cremated? Is that suspicious. Could be, but I think it would be either that or a closed casket ceremony due to the condition of the body, and it is the families right to make that choice, no matter what.

See?! It's like a big DUH...but everyone gives this feldman feller high marks..so even He can make a mistake or two... he better lighten up a bit on the witnesses though. You'd think his "advisors" would tell him hey, the jury's not fond of your badgering and theatrics. Makes you wonder why he doesn't back off.

This is just my opinion, but if I were sitting in jail, and I was innocent, I wouldn't want to stay in jail for years waiting for a trial so that I could be released.

If I were guilty, I wouldn't want a speedy trial so I'd make that trek over to the chair faster.

. What happened to her blood?

On yesterday's thread I went into detail on an explanation.

Short version:

Danielle may have been sacrificied in some Satanic Ritual. During these, the left foot or hand is removed as a sign of the LEFT PATH. In Latin, left is SINISTRA, which is where the word SINISTER came from.

Most likely they would have hung the body up, cut off the foot, and allow all the blood to drain out into a receptacle, from which they would drink the blood (of a virgin). Certain areas (and SD may be included) are known for this practice of witchcraft and black magic.

Go back to early posts where FRESNODA has listed all the information on this type of ritual, and the all important link to the DATE that Danielle disappeared.

Disgusting isn't it, but you asked.
