I was under the impression everything was rushed through because the defense wanted a speedy trial. I heard some news person, probably on ctv... say that dusek wanted a 2-3 more months to do some deeper investigations..IE:get more of DW's backgground established etc..but the defense didnt' want that.

The defendant has a right to a speedy trial....the prosecution should have had their evidence, background checks, and investigations done before charging the man in a death penalty case.......had to get those poll numbers up tho....IMO.

LOL, they did and today I watched a bit of Court TV and saw a replay of what others here had seen earlier. Feldman was trying to explain to the judge why their witness list isn't complete. It was because the trial came upon them so suddenly! Only a defense attorney!

The dinner sounds great.

So the ME released the body to the family within days, without all of her body parts. The family didn't bury Danielle, but cremated. This was my discussion with the other poster.

You're saying that the ME and Prosec. did this so so that DW could have a speedy trial?? I don't understand.... I've seen other cases where body's are held by ME for a while, even while trials go on.
