I enjoy reading Ann's columns in Human Events, and I can't wait to read this book.

This freeper household will be getting the book soon. Caught a moment of hardball last night- she was trying to promote her book. Emphasize 'trying'. They had some liberal twit on to counter her arguments. She got irritated and finally asked the substitute host something like 'If Chris Matthews were to write a book and come on this program to promote it, would there be a conservative voice invited to counter his position?' No one would answer it. I love how she doesn't even have to try to make her case. She just asks a question and the libs fall all over themselves to prove her right.

Ann Coulter??? Oh yeah... she's that gal that went on the today show looking like a tramp. And...then proceeded to get out argued by Perky Katie of all people.

American political thought has become increasingly influenced by a group of tough, conservative, independent-minded women. This is the one area were I might give some consideration to human cloning. We could use lot's more smart, no-nonsense conservatives like Ann, Laura, et.al.

I read it in one sitting yesterday....after having to go a treasure hunt to find it inside Borders Bookstore (it was NOT displayed out in the open).
My only complaint was that I was fooled into thinking I still had about 50 pages to go...instead it was all footnotes. ;^)

''Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like liberals do. They don't have the energy. If they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now.''
Hahahahahaha

I ordered this latest book by the saintly, stately and statuesque Ann Coulter from Amazon pre-publication, and they have informed me it it is being shipped. Anticipation without bounds....

They called Newt Gingrich ''stupid.'' Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush are just said to be ''dumb.'' They also called the man who led the largest invasion fleet in world history a "blockhead." Eisenhower was too stupid to be President according to liberals.

Bump for our Ann!!! I'm so proud of her.

I had the pleasure of seeing Ann on C-Span one night - Delivering a talk at a liberal university. The students were hostile and shot their questions while Ann adroitly hammered them with common sense answers. She became my hero with her poise and logic! And she never broke a sweat.
Yes, I agree I sometimes wish she'd tone down the vamp image... It detracts from the message, IMHO. But different strokes for different folks. Especially the guys!

I think she (Coulter) did well on Today, but she must have been tired by the time she hit Hardball last night. She was asked for an opinion on the 9th Circuit Courts decision on the Pledge of Allegiance and she stumbled all over herself admitting that she had not even heard about it because she had been busy doing book interviews all day. It was a real "soft ball" question that she could have hit out of the park but it went badly.

Exhaustively researched, meticulously documented and bitingly written, ''Slander'' is destined to take its rightful place among the great handbooks of conservative political strategy. Expect a firestorm of protest from the left. Like a tumor in the path of a laser, they have been ''Coulterized.''Ann writes what I like to read and tells me what I like to hear. This doesn't change the fact that she fudged on some of her quotes. Sloppy work.
