I live in the heart of Georgia pulpwood & forestry country, and this sort of willful mismanagement is insane. We cut firebreaks and access roads as a matter of routine- of course, this is on private land!

Thanks so much. I believe it is an important congressional document, that starts out speaking of how many of us were duped into sending our contributions to the Sierra Club in the 60's, to stress the fact that he is NOT anit-environment. This is only one 2 or 3 pages out of 20, I think. Next, we send the whole thing, lol.

I'm glad it will get dusted off and spread around.
