HERE IT COMES: Hannity saying this is DASCHLE'S fault for holding up the nominations.
Let Daschle say this is a great ruling!

It was the creation of a Baptist socialist as I recall, but the K of C made it "unconstitutional" by getting "under God" included.

Yes, but kids are forced to go to school until the age of 16.

There is cause for outrage because the court does not understand the meaning of th First Amendment. It does not support a separation of church and state.Thank you. There is additional cause for outrage because the court obviously does not know the difference between simple English words like "establish", "endorse", and "acknowledge", either.

This is the most amazing piece of cr@p (excuse my language ) that has been wrought by a Court since Roe v. Wade.
Terrorists have a right to not be interrogated...kids can be killed in uteroe, and last, but not least,...the Pledge Of Alliegence is illegal.
Talk about a Klintonian legacy.

Tom Dasshole wants more of these judges!
Which is why this opinion is the best thing the 9th Circuit could have done for the president's judicial nominees. This lemon will soon be lemonade, if we seize the opportunity.

I'm curious what happens when the teacher is a Jehovah's Witness, whose religion forbids pledges to flags. Does a student lead the class in the pledge?Well maybe that teacher should (1) rethink s/his profession, or (2) rethink what s/he is willing to do. The Pledge is hardly a religious creed or something. Geezus.
What really chaps my Republican a$$ is when folks think they have the almighty Gawd-given RIGHT not to ever ever be offended. There's a such thing as good sportsmanship.

Wrong. The 1st Amendment says (in part) "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
The difference may be subtle, but the way you have it, religion itself is referenced (THE establishment of religion). The way it is written, it refers to any specific church (AN establishment), forbidding Congress to favor one church over another. Of course, neither way does it mandate a separation of church and state.
This may be picky, but to me the Constitution is a sacred document.

The Ninth Circuit Court is one of the, if not the worst courts in the nation. It has sticken down more conservative legislation than any other I can think of. Anytime the Libs have a problem they turn to this court to strike it down.
Proposition 187 and others have seccumed to it's anti-American slant. This is nothing new. It's simply another reason to percieve them for what they are.

IN ALL WESTERN STATES. That's a pretty far reach for some communist judges. All because of one seven year old girl who "felt bad in Frisco. Dad just got his 15 minutes of fame. THE JUDGES NEED TO BE RE-CALLED OR IMPEACHED. This gives a great opening for extremist Islamic Fundamentalists and WHAT'S NEXT? THE MONEY? ANY MENTION OF GOD? WHAT HAPPENED TO FREEDOM OF RELIGION?
We have to contact all our congressman and senators, president and vice president AND EXPRESS OUR EXTREME DISPLEASURE. Phone call EVERYONE!!!!! What a crock!

The words Eisenhower so arrogantly added in 1954 - the "under God" words, are indeed unconstitutional and need to be removed, because they make a large segment of the population feel extremely uncomfortable, and those people are just as much TRUE AMERICANS as you are! No one has the right to not feel extremely uncomfortable. Those who don't want to recite the pledge are perfectly within their rights to shut their yaps while the rest of us recite it.
Those words will stand, whether by a USSC decision, or just by acclamation.
This decsion is unenforceable.

Civil disobedience? Maybe. But this will maybe blow over by the time public schools re-open in the autumn.
