I was surprised to hear that NBC allowed Ann Coulter to appear on the Today Show. They wouldn't allow Gary Aldrich and several other anti-clintonites to come on and sell their books. Katie Couric is a little witch, with a big "B". May be I'll catch a replay on msnbc.

Everyone has the book before I do. I ordered it 6 or 8 weeks ago through Amazon. Guess who I'll never do business with again. They've been bugging me anyway because they have solicited my business only twice. Once for Brock's book and once for the one supposedly co-written by Chelsea Clinton. Hmmm...they cannot possibly be paying attention to what I usually buy.

Of course I'm biased. I'm a Broken-Glass Republican. But at least I don't run-around claiming to be some kind of reliable news source... And Chris Ruddy isn't a Broken-Glass Republican? NewsMax.com is reliable, but not objective. They vociferously support the conservative agenda, without apology.

Yeeeeeessssssssss! Cat Fight !Would that make Ann = "White She-Devil"? Pull up a chair!

Not to bash her but her body literally reminds me of Olive Oil. You have a point. Maybe she should befriend Rosie and eat everything she eats for a while. They could be good for each other. Rosie could, perhaps, become enlightnted and Ann could put on a few pounds. :-)

But Ann's OUR telebimbo. Which means, she's got a brain to match the bod.
Right now, Slander is #1 at Amazon. If it takes great legs to get the VRWC message out, then more power to her.

Looks like little Katie Kommie thinks that it is perfectly acceptable to insult people using the words that others have used (against Ann, Ronald Reagan, etc.).
Does anyone have tape of Katie on election night 2000?
When the election was called for George W. Bush she looked physically ill and like she was holding back the tears (much like Americans felt on the morning of 9/11).

I think that in broadcasting, there are true conservatives -- then there are phony conservatives, those who think that "talking conservative" is a good way to get rich.
Morton Downey was the first wildly successful phony conservative (and he pretty much admitted it was all an act after his show tanked). Curtis Sliva, Bill O'Reily and Ann Coulter are also phony conservatives.
Rush and Bob Grant are sincere (Bob Grant has suffered for his conservative views, rather than make a buck on it -- he's what I miss most about leaving NY -- he rules!).

I think Ann did fine. Katie was clearly loaded for bear (quotes ready and put downs well prepared) and I think her intent was to prod Ann into an emotional or rude outburst. She kept saying that Ann was fired with a big grin on her face. This was clearly aimed to irritate Ann and to diminish her in the eyes of the viewers. In my opinion, Ann kept her cool as well as possible given the slanderous attacks. I have seen her on Hannity & Colmes get much more animated that today with Katie. If anyone has watched Katie over the years do political interviews, she is fairly consistent in her disdain (usually attacks with a dour look on her face) for Republican/Conservatives and in her support (usually throws soft-balls with a happy perky body language) for Dems/Liberals. In my opinion, the only one more blatant in their bias against Republicans / Conservatives was Bryant Gumbel. And, look where Bryant is these days.

Appreciate the article, but the headline is misleading.

Left coast: Just watched the Couric/Coulter interview, and all I can say is, thank God for Ann!!! She was not only terrific, she was outstanding. All Couric could do was interrupt, interject words that, as Ann said, take away the text of what she was trying to say ( relating to her book)..The intellect of Ann Coulter is to be admired and her spunk to stand up for Conservative thought as being what the founding fathers constantly worked with, makes her unique is today's America. Go Ann!!

But Ann's OUR telebimbo. Which means, she's got a brain to match the bod. I think it's partly an act. I sense Coulter's a phony. Like Jerry Springer and Bill O'Reilly, she's into shocking for shock's sake.
She's only temporarily "our" telebimbo. Really, she's a free agent. She'd do a Brock and turn Left if necessary for her career.

Dear Katie, you home-wrecking, frumpy little SLUT: ever hear the crude expression
"diamond in a goat's @ss?"Ann Coulter is the diamond, you are the @ss.
The lovely Ann Coulter has a best-seller on her hands, and it's just KILLING you.
Better put some ice on that thin, wrinkly lip.
To: Carl/NewsMax
"Well, Ann Coulter, it's always interesting to talk to you to say the least," Couric concluded. And what didn't make the airwaves...
"And f_ck you too, Kaite," Coulter returned.

Is there any way you could bring yourself to lose the pic on your posts? Once in a while is fine... but putting the pic on every post gets old. I'm sure that I'm one of many that feels that way. Thanks
