Here's a live thread for the Today Show interview with Ann Coulter.

Will the perky Katie interview Ann? Will Ann make the perky Katie cry? Will the perky Katie chicken out and have Matt do the interview?
Never thought these words would cross my lips, I can't wait for the Today show!!

Host - You name Katie, Dan, New York Times etc. How did Katie interview go this AM?

Ann - there was no chair thrwoing, punches. Mentioned Brian Williams as being objective (I think)

Host - how should we react?

Ann - I hope liberals read it and understand how awful they are. Just because we want taxes cut, I am not a racist, hompphobe, anti-homeless, etc.

Host - maybe conservatives exist that don't like SUVs.

Ann - what are you talking about?

Host - Rush Limbaugh doesn't like SUVs.

Ann - what do you mean by "I don't leave any room for". We have different opinions, but we don't try to make them irrelevant by slandering them.

Host - that's all the time we have.

It's funny you say that. It's her calves that I specifically LOVE!!!!!! Everytime she's doing an interview while setting-down in that chair with a skirt on, I just sit and STARE at the TV.

Even if she did have great legs (purely a tastes thing, won't try to dispute it), watching her while listening to whats coming out of her mouth has got to be similar to the aversion therapy exhibited in A Clockwork Orange.

Not necessarily. Katie has a cute smile (and knows it) but her legs are - as you said - short and bulging, not really attractive, and I notice these things.

I am glad someone else has seen the obvious - her legs are so ugly.

My dad can't watch her becuase she has no lips - or chicken lips as he calls them...watch when she smiles what she does have disappears and she has about two feet of gum and these little chicklet teeth....
She definitely doesn't have lips that I would want to kiss if I were a guy...

And those mishapen legs - guys find that sexy??? What is wrong with you -- her tan is going to look like leather in ten years and those bulbous calves - YUCK!

I'd love to tell this all to her face - because you can tell she doesn't realize how ugly she actually is.

My husband likes what she says but can't stand her voice. And as far as her appearance, he thinks she's an attractive woman but far too skinny for him to consider sexy. Paul Z. might be liberal, but her legs are great--shapely and long. Anorexic does not come to mind when you get a view of her legs. :)

A colleague of mine happened to get a picture with Katie and proudly showed it to me. I was polite, but I couldn't help thinking how tired and sickly Katie looked without all the help she must get at the show.

To me, this makes Ann's point for her. This is exactly what Perky Katie does in all her interviews. She "asks" a question (also known as attacking if a conservative guest), then she doesn't let the guest really answer, then she refers to a transcript (as if waiving a piece of paper means something), then they go to break.

I have the same problem with Sean Hannity on Fox (as opposed to his radio program). Both Hannity and Colmns are guilty are asking questions -- which are really accusations -- and then cutting off the guest in mid sentence to go to a commercial. Don't get me wrong, I like Hannity a lot, particularly his drive time radio program where he really does give hostile guests a full and fair oppurtunity to state their position before he rips them to shreads. But on TV, he and his side kick provoke and antagonize and then break for a commercial without ever giving their guests a fair oppurtunity to speak. True, many of their guests are putrid scum, but I want to hear them speak without interruption so I know what the enemy is thinking.

It was because she was prepared that she did not bring the transcripts. She knew that they contradicted her.
