I read your post earlier today on your lack of turn out for the "Human Chain" FReep. We are working on the same problem in Houston, especially for short notice stuff like this one.
The one piece of advice I can give is - PESTER THE HECK OUT OF PEOPLE! Hah! Well, watch for our report later this week and see how we do.

Your photo shows it really is spreading throughout Red Nation. Here in North Carolina during past two years, Council of Conservative Citizens has done many pickets of congresscritters' offices, etc., in many illegal-infested towns. They have taken the lead on this issue in this state.
People in this state - where hordes of illegals have gravitated to recession-collapsed industries like textiles and furnituremaking - are no longer willing to be polite and shut up.
Get the sticker!

I'd consider attending if I lived in Houstin (and if I didn't look like such a "freak" as compared to most conservatives). I'd want a sign that reads "Illegal Immigrants are CRIMINALS." It seems to me -- and perhaps it is just me -- that many people who are in favour of cracking down on illegal immigration don't often reiterate the fact that illegal immigrants, by being here illegally, are breaking the law.
Perhaps it's because to a rational, sane person such a concept seems too obvious to bother mentioning. It must be noted, in that case, that the majority of the populace is hardly sane or rational and that "common sense" is not as common as it should be.

Late afternoon bump. (Am still in a fog over 9th Circuit Ct. ruling on the pledge!)
BTW, me and T-Agent will to make it to the protest, but bear in mind, we are waaaaay out of town and it's a huge trek for both of us.
But if you live in town, you have no excuse, right? ;-)

Important info on parking and a meeting spot
I did a pre-FReep survey of the area. It's a mess due to a lot of street and building construction. The closest parking is in the ORANGE garage on W. Alabama. This street is one way east bound. Access it from Sage Rd. via Westheimer or Richmond. The ORANGE garage has an entrance that accommodates tall vehicles.
There is a church on the southeast corner of Sage and W. Alabama. There are 3 driveway entrances to their parking lot on W. Alabama, across from the Westin.. Meet there. If there are any local TV trucks they will probably be parked near there.
Should it be raining when we get there we can meet inside. On the Street Level, near the Westin entrance, there are escalators and seating. Meet there - sans any protest material.
The sidewalk in front of the Westin is open, but it is a narrow area due to the construction.
