Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for this day and for the many blessings You have given us. I thank You, Lord, for the promise of eternal life which we have through Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank You that those who have gone on before are not lost to us if they are in the Lord, but are awaiting the day when we shall join them at the feet of the Savior. What a day that will be! Lord, when there is no more pain or confusion, no more war or hatred, no more lies or sin- all will be well then and You will be worshipped universally. Until then, we occupy and we trust You, knowing we see through a glass darkly, but then, face to face.

Father, I lift up to You President Bush today and ask that You would go with him. Help him to have wisdom and discernment in all that he says and does. Help him to stand for what is right and to shun that which is wrong. And, give him a renewed vigor to do Your will. Help him to seek You in EVERYTHING and let him find You as he seeks.

Father, I pray for the churches in America, particularly those who support abortion. Since that is our theme topic this week, Father, I pray that You would either change the hearts of those blind guides that lead their flocks into the abyss or remove them so that their sheep may sit under a better shepherd. Forgive Your church Lord for not doing what it should to end abortion, and help us Lord to know what to do when we are confronted with the issue. Help us to love the people involved, but to abhore the sin. And help us to be effective in drawing people out of Satan's trap.

Go with us the rest of this day and until we meet again here in prayer. Forgive us of where we have failed You and hear our crys unto You. For it is in the precious and holy name of Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior that I pray, Amen.

PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of Battle; Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls.

Heavenly Father, I praise and worship You the One who is high and lifted up. I adore You and desire to serve You in all I do.

Father, I pray for our nation tonite that Your Spirit would send fire to ignite Your people and burn the chaff that has built up in our collective lives.

Lord, I pray that You would send conviction into Your church to open the eyes of those who have become blinded and cannot decern evil.

I pray for the President tonite that Your Spirit would council him in his prayer and reading of Your Word. Give him wisdom and the Spirit of revelation.

Lastly, I pray for the prayer warriors here that You would bless each one and protect them from the evil one. Increase our numbers and teach us to understand Your ways, in Jesus name, amen.
