FULLERTON -- A mom and dad decided Sunday to stop their 21-year-old daughter from seeing her married boyfriend by tying her to a bed with 30-pound chains, police said.
Guadalupe and David Mata admitted to locking their daughter with two "giant gate locks" to prevent her from going out, said Fullerton Police Lt. Danny Becerra.

An officer later found her spread-eagle on the bed with each arm and leg chained to a different bedpost. Is it wrong for me to be getting turned on?

She's 21 years old. Why didn't they just say "obey our rules or get out of the house?"

***HM said: Perhaps you wouldn't think *I* was an American based on my maiden name. I'm sure you wouldn't.
***grlfrnd said: I figured that out from your replies. You've got some chip on your shoulder issues.
I have no chip on my shoulders. Just because someone has a name different from Smith or Jones, doesn't make them an illegal. My maiden name is *Vicentjivic*. I'm not Hispanic. I'm Serbian. I'm sure you'll find great problems with that. My grandfather came to the U.S. through Ellis Island...didn't speak English. Later he spoke very broken English. But he became a U.S. citizen...not that that would hold any weight with you.
How 'bout you, grlfrnd? Where do you or your folks hail from? Are your families roots from the USA? Or elsewhere?

***You're not well liked***
That was an unkind and unnecessary remark. OPH and I haven't always agreed on things but to say someone is not well liked is unkind.

BTW...I grew up in Southern California. The population of Hispanics was quite high. I had/have no problems with Hispanics. You need to determine if you're bashing Hispanics altogether...or illegal aliens.

OPH, where do you find these losers?
Listen up grlfrnd, you are the single biggest loser on this thread, and are in solid contention for "Loser Of The Year" here in FR. OPH is a well-liked, respected FReeper.
You, on the other hand, are an idiot, and a bigot to boot.
There were people with Hispanic last names settled on what is known today as The United States of America, long before the first succesful British settlement.
BTW, I am quite impressed with your command of the Spanish language...after all, we couldn't possibly be communicating in English, could we? I mean after all, I am one of those Hispanics that you claim don't speak the language.

So what happened to David Mata's lawn mowers while the chains were occupied with Giovana?
I can't say exactly - but are you interested in a Dixon Zero Turn Radius mower, by chance? Low hours, well taken care of...
Those are NICE machines...I watched a neighbor with one neutral-steer his way through his fenced-in yard, needing not so much as a weedeater to clean up the tight places that his Dixon could and did get into. I'm happily in an apartment where a chained-down 21-year old woman would likely give me more recreational value than a good mower, but should I find my way to greener pastures, I'll likely wish I'd taken you up on your offer.
Hey, why didn't the father just put the girl to work at landscaping to keep her occupied...?
