Not really.

Bush said in his speech, "The Bible says, 'I have set before you life and death; therefore, choose life.'" I think the fact that he left off the end "that you may live," and omittted the context: it comes as part of the "blessings and curses" in Deuteronomy," indicates that he wants it to be one message to people who know the Bible (Jews and Christians) and a different message to people who couldn't care less about it (Muslims).

I think you're right. What makes me laugh with scorn are all of the latest news reports on how Bush is supporting a Palestinian state without mentioning the conditions. The propaganda is THICK now.

Bush sent out a VERY clear warning to people that are willing to take the time and think about what he just said.
