You have posted MY thoughts exactly!

I have been watching with interest the growing divide between those who recognize the President to be a MAN, thus capable of disappointments, yet still support him as THEIR PRESIDENT; and those who look for every sneeze, bobble, or issue disagreement and rather than discuss the disagreement or say God Bless for the sneeze, use those occasions to denigrate and withdraw their support with a vengeance.

In my opinion, support so shallowly given is thus easily withdrawn. Much like those who bestow God-like qualities on someone are thus vulnerable to failed expectations.

I appreciate the SUPPORT for our President I have seen on many threads, coupled with reasoned responses that indicate that in all our arrogance WE may not have the benefit of omniscient suppositions about his actions.

I thought conservatives had principles? I thought we believed in and fought for things? How can we automatically support the administration, especially when it is seriously misguided and acting in a way we know to be against our principles, and call ourselves principled conservatives?

Bush is wrong on Israel and the PA, and we shouldn't be afraid to say so just because he's a Republican. Isn't that what Clinton's automatons did?

You don't have to sign up at all; and for me, being called a Bush-Bot is no longer a smear; I remember how the liberals called us "Clinton haters" when we tried to bring his many foibles to their attention.

Well, we were right and they were wrong. I wore the name "Clinton hater" with pride, a sure sign of my intelligence and a badge of honor.

There are people who are intent on dividing this party and this nation with the intent of destroying this country and giving the power to influence this country for years to come back to the liberals JUST BECAUSE THEIR GUY DIDN"T GET ELECTED.

In my opinion, they are willing to turn this country over the liberals just so they can say, "See, I told you he wasn't a 'real' conservative, he wasn't a 'true' conservative." They would rather be right than suport him.
