I'm with you -- hope springs eternal in me. There ARE some Palestinians who truly want this. One can also hope that they're in a position to do something about what they want -- and not be ground down by the current Palestinian power structure.

The "Judeo-Christian" world would be a better phrase here. He was quoting from Deuteronomy, which is the last book of the Torah.

President Bush and Crown Prince Abdullah will be histories hero's. Their time is now. The plan is unfolding.

I know it's too soon to talk about this, but wouldn't it be something if/when President Bush someday is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize? What a feather in his cap that would be! I can't wait to see the lib press report on that one!

And I always think about what Dickie Morris has said on at least 3 separate occasions, that George W. Bush has a date with Mount Rushmore.

It is just this side of an ultimatum. I think rintense was pretty much on target, but his timetable for implementing major exports from Russia might be on the pessimistic side. This is a much stronger speech than I expected.

I have never said much about this, but I find your posts inferring this extremely offensive. You may choose to interpret Scripture how you wish. However, I think assigning the Mark of the Beast to Bush-supporters is over the top.

Really? That's what the cult-of-Bush had been doing for months, since the "Who is like Bush who can make war with him" sentiments are coming from them. Perhaps they should realize what kind of picture they are painting.

That's nothing more than a lame twist. You really can't worm you way out of this. If you don't like him , just say so in plain words. If you think he's the anti-Christ, say that in plain words.

You laugh....did you know that the propechies of the New Testament say that the last war will be around Jerusalem?.....Your laughter sounds familar...History is replet with the laughers....we can hear the echoes from the holes in the ground where your head resides....It isn't only about a "little stip of land"....There are people over there that WILL bomb you to death if given the opporutunity to.

The up-side to creating a Palestinian state as soon as possible would be that they could all be moved into one centralized area.

They could be moved today. Heck with giving the Arab plan legitimacy. Boundaries are needed but to leave things like Jerusalem as an after thought is just one more nail in the coffin of this plan.

Wishful thinking. The PA will never democratize. Nor will Islam on its own (Turkey aside.)

But what if they don't choose life? In fact... does anyone here really think they will choose life? It is greatly worded.... but it in this case it means nothing. We are at status quo. The bombings will continue, the incursions into occupied territory will continue. And eventually Israel will finish the wall.

I know that I do not support the idea of a Palestinian State within the confines of Israel...I thought NO conservatives supported that...
