I just saw a word I am sick to death of hearing...
DIVA
Add to that....
DIVERSITY
SENSITIVITY
TOLERANCE
MULTICULTURAL
SELF-ESTEEM
Feel free to add your own, as I am sure I have left a lot out...

"ALLEGED" as in suspect
Alleged, as in VICTIM (even if BOTH standing right there!)
"Innocent until proven guilty." The correct term, of course, is "PRESUMED innocent, etc."

What really annoys me is how some business people use stupid cliches and mangle words (typically by turning nouns into verbs) in some pathetic attempt to sound intelligent.
I get a lot of enjoyment out of sitting in on conference calls and listening to morons who spout nonsense like "How do we get the ball rolling so we can action this project?" :)

That reminds me of someone with whom I graduated high school. He went on to law school. I saw him years later and everything that came out of his mouth seemed so rehearsed and hollow. I don't know what became of him, but I always thought he would make a good politician.

Oops. Pardon me. I had forgotten that Catholic bashing is acceptable and en vogue now.

No kidding. My least favorite is "leverage", as in "leverage your investment". You always see it in ads for business software and hardware.
By the way, and I hope this doesn't start a whole new topic, but when exactly did the word LOSE get an extra 'O'? If I had a penny for every time I've seen someone called a "LOOSER"... Drives me batty. It seems to have arrived about the same time as "internet-speak":
IMHO
LOL
ROTFLMAO
and cutsie shortcuts like "u" for "you" and "r" for "are" and lord knows what else. If a person is too damned lazy to type a complete word, then they obviously don't have anything important to say anyway.

I am a Catholic and I don't know anyone who was molested by a priest. I'm sick of hearing about it.

Please accept my apologies. I misinterpreted your post as Catholic-bashing.
Sorry,
Drew

NO no no...you misunderstood me...it's the numbers 9/11 that bother me. September 11 is the date.....no one says 1/2 or 3/17 or 12/25....sorry if i didn't explain it better.
