FREEP THIS POLL - Aid and abet illegal aliens?
Arizona Daily Star ^ | 6/24/02 | Arizona Daily Star

Posted on 06/24/2002 11:48:20 AM PDT by Tancredo Fan

Some aid groups have been placing water jugs in the Arizona desert to help those crossing illegally from Mexico. What's your opinion of this practice? (Poll appears down the page a ways.)

Personally I think those clowns from Humane Borders ought to be in prison.

"Is that not the case?"
I have no idea.

"...well trammeled, garbage strewn path...."
Not here, sounds like over by you in California.

What's what point about borders. A bunch of bureaucrats created this so-called border. I had no idea what was in their minds, if anything. My neighbor is my neighbor, and our relationship is personal with us, and not on some dimwick in D.C. that drew a line on a map which has no relevance to the geography, indigenous life, or the desires of my neighbors and I.

I do whatever I can do to further freedom for individuals.
If I chose to offer my guest a cold beer from my fridge, or water from a jug, or shelter, or food, my guests are welcome.

If the feds don't care about life, I do.

What is with this conservative trend of treating illegal immigrants like criminals? Have they broken any laws?

You're kidding, right? You used the phrase "illegal immigrants" in your question and then you ask if they have broken any laws? The key word here is "illegal" which means that they have violated the laws of the U.S.

While watching the local news in Houston and reading the Metro section of the paper, it is very evident that the illegal immigrants are leading in the crime statistics. Most reports on violent crime here these days feature somebody with a 'z' in his name. So the answer is YES.

It is a good idea to use the "copy-paste" when freeping.

It's nice of you to provide a link, but they can tell which site we came from and erase our votes.

Copy, past in the address window and vote! Early and often!

Hehehe!

Hmmm. I never thought of that. Good idea. BTW, here's another one:

Question about putting troops on the border. I say the sooner the better.

This thread isn't about you and your neighbors, it's about the thousands of destitute people who flood into the United States every year from every direction.

Offering your welcome guests a cold beer is one thing, aiding them in breaking the law against taking up residence in the United States, or having your house looted on a regular basis, or having your hospitals overloaded with destitute people who have no legal right to be in the country in the first place, is entirely another. You're talking about welcome guests, while I'm talking about unwelcome guests.

Somehow I think the American people understand the laws of the land better than our own government does:

The people responsible for aiding and abetting illegals should be arrested and charged under federal laws like the RICO act, including Robin Hoover, the so-called minister, and that lame-brained side-kick of his. That includes his entire band of "we are the worlders", and the deplorable likes of ambulance chaser Isabel Garcia (Derechos Humanos of Tucson).

Knock off your welfare crap and you won't have unwelcome guests. Takes balls, and Californian's don't. So live with it.

Change it, or vote with your feet and split. If that's too much trouble, or inconvenient: then it isn't that important to you, is it?

My friend. My good patriotic friend. Make one single arrest of these scummy PC pieces of $hit and you will be crucified in the lamestream media and in the courts. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is for the time being.

Liberalism must be crushed!

The bank (read tax-dollar) doors are already open. They have been open for years and closing them is going to be a bitch.

LOL. Getting a range rover (an older less "comfortable" one that is) stuck is quite a feat. And yes, guide them to the nearest luxury sweet while get to test out their rigs.

My previous attempts at explaining my words were removed by the moderators, so I guess I was a bit too "harsh" in my response (though it was certainly not my intent), so I shall simply state again that my comments were intended as sarcasm, using the irony of asking if people who were here illegally (as in breaking the law) were doing something criminal (as in breaking the law). I apologize if there was a misunderstanding, and I am aware that there are some liberal loons who might honestly pose such a question without humourous intent.

I read that part of the law-suit settlement was to put some of those "liberal-loons" in admin-mod positions....../sarcasm (i hope)

If they only wanted a cold glass of water it'd be one thing but they want free health care, free education, free housing and the rest. Look at the housing projects going up all along the border and what language is mainly spoken in them. There is a limit of unskilled jobs left in the US and not all are coming here to work or will find it if they are. The border region is an economic disaster, wages are falling and jobs are leaving the area, the Medicaid system is in trouble ---maybe the breaking of it will be the one good thing all this immigration does.

Thanks for the clarification. When I first joined FR, I learned the hard way that when I posted something that was meant to be sarcastic, I'd better make sure that I included the sarcasm tag or else I'd end up having several FReepers verbally assaulting me.
