Judges can leave in the middle of a case?? That's bizarre.

Apparently this trip with his wife has been scheduled for some time. He addressed it in open court. Besides, he'll be back before they are finished.

Been gone all day--what'd I miss?
(Just kidding! Thanks, all, for keeping a running report. Took half an hour to read all the comments!)

Now, about those hairs, last week didn't we hear that certain hairs that were similar to Danielle's could also be from Danielle L. and her friend (can't remember her name--Jennifer)? Just because a hair looks similar does not mean it has been matched conclusively as a one-in-a-pentillion chance of belonging to anyone else in the known universe.

And hair like Layla's in the dryer lint ball? If Danielle romped with her dog at all, she would have shed hair on her clothing/socks/shoes (as would BVD and Dylen). She walked from her house to DW's, along with Mom and Brother, along with their dog's hairs, along with carpet fibers from their living room, along with the hair on their heads. Then she flitted to and fro in DW's house while Mom chatted with the neighbor. This is all WAY too circumstantial to convict the guy of murder (or, in the popular vernacular around here, "fry him"). My .02 for the moment.
