OK, here's mine:
I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu; kept people looking so hard for the facts
.and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of books of the Bible in this paragraph.
Wow, this was harder than I thought. I found nine right off the bat in less than five minutes: mark, kings, revelation, james, numbers, job, judges, lamentations, and hebrews. Then I spent several more minutes before finding "acts"
I had to cheat to find the rest (yes, I finally broke down to and looked at a list of books in the Bible). I then found "amos", "luke", "ruth", pretty quickly. "esther" came after another five minutes of looking, followed quickly by "titus". That makes fifteen.
So, I spent 20 minutes on this and found fifteen. As I was scrolling through other people's posts I saw someone had "peter". I'm so mad at myself! I should have seen it.
That was fun. Thanks!

Are the letters rearranged? I understand that some are backwards, but I thought maybe some were jumbled. Nope. All straightforward.

Darn it!
Well, it was worth a try.

I'm sorry, Carolina, but what Bible is this book in?This orginal post mentioned it--it's in the apocrypha.
To: rdb3
It's part of the Deuterocanonical Apocrypha.
In a Protestant Bible, you'll find the Aprocrypha between the OT and NT.
In a Catholic Bible, the books are interspersed throughout.
If you'd like to read them online, click here.

Ohhhhh noooooooooooo:>)

Ah, I had miscounted... I actually had 15 but had forgotten to write one of them down. Missed "kings." I could tell from answers submitted by other people.

In a Protestant Bible, you'll find the Aprocrypha between the OT and NT. Actually, having owned probably twenty different Bibles in my life, I have never had one that had the Apocrypha in it.

I found 15 in about twenty minutes, then spent ten or so looking for the last name. Luke was the one that I could not spot. I studied that area quite a bit and never could see it until someone posted it. Can't believe I found Titis and a couple of others then missed Luke.
Thanks for the brain teaser.

Here's one.

Found 'em all, but I had to print the paragraph first so I could circle them...kept losing my place.
Thanks for the "fun break"!

I see. But I must admit that I would have never looked for it. I see why you did and you found it. I don't know about the rest of you, but I found 10 quickly, but since then, zip!
Keep looking, I know. ;-)

That's why you have to think outside of the box... first kings, second kings!

Nice...
Hosea and Matthew

LOL!! Great riposte!

That was fun; it took some time however, I did manage to get them all.
To: Charles Henrickson
CH--I enjoyed your paragraph. The six books in #125: Joel, Daniel, Genesis, Proverbs, Philemon, and Matthew. My son helped me get the last one.
