The trial resumes tomorrow at 9:00am. The prosecution has said they will conclude by the end of the month (6/27).
Westerfield is 50 years old with two grown children. Where are his priors? What evidence does the DA have the DW is a pedophile?
To me, the fascinating thing about this case is that everything DW is accused of, DVD has him trumped. DVD has porn on his computer. DVD is sexually deviant, engaging in sex orgies. DVD uses illegal drugs. DVD has locks in his garage that go the wrong way. DVD was steam cleaning the carpet the day his daughter disappeared. One of the VDs was washing rugs and towels. One of the VDs was in the house very early two days after their daughter disappeared vacuuming the stairway right next to Danielle's room. Someone disturbed the crime scene that day and caused a 22 shell to appear in Danielle's room. It wasn't Westerfield.
The van Dams were very cooperative with police. Feldman even made a joke about this with one of the detectives, and even the judge conceded that "cooperation" is not a very strong indication of guilt.
I can't remember who mentioned this awhile back..but the gist of it was, that even full cooperation can hurt you. The normal reaction of innocent people..or people who don't have anything to hide is to open their doors. Which westerfield DID open his doors..but we are told under oath that he did something that the rest of the neighbors did not do...ok, if feldman DOESN'T ask the cops about that issue it will be a bummer..because it deserves answers. Someone needs to address it in that courtroom.

DVD is sexually deviant, (WE DON'T KNOW IF DW IS yet..but can't imagine how much he must have enjoyed viewing the rape animations of the little girls..how many people do you know that has rape animatinos of little girls on their puters?

DVD uses illegal drugs. DW was at the bar a lot, and we don't know about drugs..but he's not charged with drug useage or orgies--neither are the vd's.
DVD has locks in his garage that go the wrong way. THIS IS WEIRD..but so is DW's rape animations and porn photos of prepubescent children.
DVD was steam cleaning the carpet the day his daughter disappeared. I thought he cleaned dog pee the week before or something. Wasn't this discussed in testimony within the past few days? I can'tr remember now. DW didn't have any of his own finger prints in his own motorhome...that is weird.

The shell could have been overlooked..but maybe it was kicked from some other location..we just don't know. Someone put child porn on dw's westerfield's computer, planted blood and hair everywhere, and put danielles fingerprints in his MH..it wasn't damon.

EXACTLY RIGHT. More often than not..if the child isn't sold into prostitution when he/she gets too old to make more porn pics and films, he's killed..simple as that. Not missed, but by family and those in the know. Child porn is the product of one of the most vile industries on this earth..it should NEVER be taken lightly.

I'm still looking. Haven't found either of those but I did find some info we had wondered about before. You had found where the VDs were married in FL but moved to TX in '93.

I did find an article that stated BVD considered Danielle her friend and went for manicures together but no video yet.
