To the nationalist it would be unthinkable to toss the bag. To the liberal, it would simply remain an option, though not 'the' option.

I would save the bag. Me and my kids have to live here.
If more liberals 'choose' to toss their bags, the country would become the typical slum areas we see the liberals living in today, and plagues would abound from the filth.
