Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Theory has it that this goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden, when Satan seduced Adam and Eve. Cain and Able were fraternal twins, Adam being the father of Able, and Satan being the father of Cain....it happens ("mark" is used for the first time in the Bible after this). Note in Genesis 5, the generations of Adam start with Seth and do not include Cain. Cain's generations are listed apart from Adam. Please note, however, that we all have the seed of Eve, as well, and the Kingdom of God is open to all who accept Jesus Christ as savior.
