Men Flee Airport After Taking Photos

Fulton County police issued a Be On The Lookout, or BOLO, for two men who were observed taking pictures of the aircraft and facilities of Raytheon Aircraft Thursday at the Fulton County Municipal Airport-Charlie Brown Field.

The two men fled when Raytheon employees approached them. The men drove away in a tan PT Cruiser bearing the Canadian tag AMMZ226.

One of the men was described as a white male, about 40 years old, heavy set and standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall. The other was described as simply being about 30 years old.

Fulton County police are asking anyone with information to call (404) 641-7562 or (404) 505-3244.

Nope. Six Flags is on the opposite side of the river, and south of I-20, but Charlie Brown is north of the freeway. The actual boundaries are MLK Ave. (GA 139), Fulton Ind. Blvd. (GA 70) and the Chattahoochee River. It's about a half mile from the intersection of MLK & FIB south to I-20.

Perhaps not. How many Islamic terrorists have come through Mexico? How many have come through Canada? The Y2K plot to hit LAX was based out of Vancouver, not Tijuana. Arab terrorists are lazy. It's easy to go through Europe to Canada to the US -- more direct flights. So that's how they go. Why fly hours longer to Mexico and then back to the US?

They also stick out less in Canada with it's open door refugee policies. In Catholic Mexico with it's larger police forces and minimal PC attitudes, they stick out more. Plus, most of the terrorists are fairly well-off. Why mess around in poorer Mexico?

Finally, because of drugs and illegal immigrants, the US border patrol is larger on the Mexican border. More movement but more police makes that border seem riskier to terrorists.

Do you not think some of these shorter, dark-skinned middle easterners are not coming in through Mexico. Just because they either have not caught them or have not let us know they caught them. Does anyone really think the only border they are going to breach is the Canadian? Do they only know one way into this country?

But using such a false assumption, gives us the option of being blown up or just having our natioin destroyed and deterioriate around us. Either way, it is lost.

White male? Taking pictures of aircraft? LOL! At major airports like LAX there are areas where people take pictures of aircraft almost 24 hours a day. LOL!

REARED AND RAISED IN NM AND ARIZ, and living for 10 years in Washington State, I do NOT think the Canadian border is the threat the Mexican border is. The Canadians are not itching to take over the whole NW and the Mexicans have already taken over wholesale in many ways, the SW. . . and are itching to take over more completely.

And, there's sufficient evidence that the Mexicans are and more will be in grand cahoots with the Mainland Chinese to our hurt.

So, how do you figure?

Well, I would say they might 'mess' around in poor Mexico because they would look a lot like the people who live there, I don't see how they would 'stick out'. Now, the Mexicans might know the difference, but I do think they might blend in better in Mexico than Canada.

In a poor country, their money would go a lot farther, especially given the fact that justice is definitely for sale there.

I truly don't know about the Canadian border. I have heard security is lax, but I do know about the Mexican border, and it seems to be non-existant, just smoke and mirrors. Just drove through El Paso, saw a lot of people swimming in the Rio Grande (a death defying act), but the 'border' was a chain-link fence. Under the cover of night, how many could cut or just scale that fence, walk through that industrial area of El Paso and become invisible. As for the presence on the Mexican border of Border Patrol and DEA, just think how effective (Not!) at controlling both the illegals and the drug flow, and then ask youselves, why would they not come across that border!!
