It's a great quote, and I love Ann as always, but I wonder if this one was inspired by a crack Colin Quinn made on Saturday Night Live last fall when he mocked Justice Department warnings that there was a "100% chance of future terrorist attack on the United States": "Hey, listen: when you get to 100%, you can stop using the word 'chance'!"

Coulter seems to specify the last 20 years and doesn't specify American airlines or anything. If you go back beyond 20 years, you get all sorts of non-Arab bombing of commercial airlines; Croatian Nationalists, more stuff in South America, etc.

Of course, she doesn't define "successful terrorist attack" but if you look at hijackings, you get all sorts of non-Arabs in the last 20 years.

Here's some of the bombings:

The worst single terrorist attack ever, before 9/11, was the blowing up of Air India Flight 182 over the Atlantic on the way to Canada by Sikh extremists (upset over the whole attack on the Golden Temple thing), killed 329 people, most of them Canadian citizens. Amazingly, the trial has yet to happen...one of the most complicated cases ever, it will start next year. Interestingly there seem to be some "conspiracy" type pages insisting it crashed due to metal fatigue.

(For this one, don't believe anyone was brought to justice, but it seems to be the general consensus it was a Colombian drug cartel, and thus, not Arabs.)

Surprisingly hard to find a comprehensive list, I keep turning up more non-Arab terrorist attacks;

In 1987 North Korean Intelligence agents blew up Korea Air 858, killing 115 people, in hopes of disrupting the Olympics.

If you include bombings of AIRPORTS, you get all sorts of non-Arabs in the last 20 years, including the Basque ETA, etc.
