You have a really good point. You see all of the time on "investigative" programs the reporters take a camera somewhere and show the public "how easy" something is. They wont do it here. If they did, and you had a crew that knew the law but just wanted to be deceptive, they would just go to a show that allows private individuals to sell, buy a gun from him, and say "see, no paper work, no background check. Its that easy".

What most people would conclude is there's nothing wrong with a law-abiding individual citizen selling something he owns to another law-abiding citizen.
Dealers at shows have to complete the same process they do in a shop - FBI check and all. There is no story because a dealer isn't going to put himself in jeapordy by violating the rules. Most know there are ATF slugs at the show trying to entice dealers into under-the-table sales.
